I reported some time ago about my incredible free e-book moneymaking experiment. The experiment consisted of making one of my ebooks free to the public through a website, ohiorentersrights.com. So far sales have remained about the same which is good. That means that offering the product for free hasn’t hurt sales at all. We are only a couple months into the experiment so it’s too early to tell whether it was a success or not. Traffic is growing to the site each month. If I can get 2-3 thousand unique visitors per month by the end of the year and double sales, I would say that the site is well on its way to finding success.

I almost forgot to mention that one of the advantages of having the ebook converted to a website is I can keep track of what pages (topics) are most popular with my readers. I just check my stats and look at search terms as well as pages with the most traffic. I can take this information and tailor the site to what people want resulting in even more traffic.
