Default How did you get started on ebook writing?

i have no informative experience to share regrading this one because I'm quite new to this field. How about you guys? How did you get started in ebook writing and some tips on how to be successful to a newbie like me? Thanks everyone

one of the ways that i recommend is to write an e-book in a How-To format on anything about which you have detailed knowledge. This will help you in having your own e-book, one which you can sell online.

thanks for your recommendation, i'm more interested in fiction writing though, do you think there is a market for these types of books and where should i sell these just in case? i know it is not as big as how-to ebooks but this is my strong point

fictional e-books have a very good market. I am not sure about posting website links here to sell your e-book. I would suggest that you search for them online and then checkout the scope youself.

thanks, i have been doing that. and i joined this forum to learn more about ebook writing and how to promote it also, its been informative so far especially in how to promote your ebook

I'm confused; how is writing an e-book different than writing a book that is distributed in hard copy?
