Quote mode turns the booking flow into a controlled pricing workflow. When a vehicle rate is set to request quote, the widget and API save the trip as Quote Requested, keep the requested details, and wait for staff to price the reservation before checkout.

Capture the trip first, price it after review
When automatic pricing is not the right fit for a vehicle, market, or special request, quote mode keeps the booking details and gives staff a structured pricing surface before checkout.
Enable quote mode
Mark a vehicle rate as request quote so the widget skips immediate payment during the initial booking request.
Save the request
The widget and API store pickup, drop-off, service type, vehicle, passengers, luggage, extras, miles, and quote flags on the reservation.
Price manually
Admin users open the Quote Requested reservation, create quote rows from the request, fill unit prices, and review tax, card fee, paid amount, and balance.
Send checkout
Once the quote is ready, the reservation moves to Quoted and the customer receives a checkout link to confirm and pay from the configured widget URL.
Admin surfaces
Quote mode is visible across reservation operations
The reservation list highlights live quote requests, the detail screen preserves requested booking information, and quoted reservations can be requoted or have the checkout email resent.
Rate-level switch
Request quote can be enabled from the rate generator when automatic pricing should pause before payment.
Request details preserved
Service type, vehicle, route, miles, passenger count, luggage, and extras remain visible before pricing.
Manual rate rows
Staff can create quote rows from the request, edit references, units, prices, and taxable behavior.
Total review
Subtotal, tax, credit card fee, paid amount, and balance stay visible in the reservation totals.
Checkout delivery
Quoted reservations can send or resend checkout email so the customer returns to confirm and pay.
Requote support
A quoted reservation can move back into Quote Requested when pricing needs another review.
