We use cookies/SDKs to remember settings, keep you signed in, provide core functionality, analyze usage, and measure marketing effectiveness. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Where required, we present a consent banner and honor your choices.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by category (e.g., transaction records may be kept for tax/financial compliance).
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law (e.g., 13 in the U.S., 16 in parts of the EEA). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. International Data Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process information outside your country (e.g., in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect cross-border transfers.
12. Your Privacy Rights
(A) EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
You may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
(B) California & U.S. State Privacy Laws (CCPA/CPRA, etc.)
Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah) may have rights to:
- Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect;
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of “sales,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, where applicable;
- Limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (where applicable);
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights;
- Appeal a denial of your request (where required by law).
We do not knowingly “sell” personal information as that term is defined by certain state laws. If we engage in activities considered “share” or “targeted advertising,” we will provide a method to opt out (e.g., via a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or in the app settings).
(C) Brazil (LGPD) and other regions
You may have similar rights as above. We will honor requests consistent with applicable law.
13. How to Exercise Your Rights
You can submit requests by emailing info@e-booknow.com. We may need information to verify your identity (and authority, if you are an authorized agent). Where permitted, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
14. Driver/Dispatcher/Company-Specific Disclosures
- Geolocation: If you are a driver using the Driver App, we may collect precise location while you are on duty or have accepted a trip, to enable dispatch, routing, and live tracking for the passenger and dispatchers. You can control location permissions in your device settings; however, certain features may require location to function.
- Compliance: We may process documents required to comply with transportation regulations, insurance validation, or safety standards (e.g., license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance) and may share essential details with travelers for transparency and safety.
- Communities: If you join communities (companies, drivers, dispatchers), your profile and participation (e.g., availability, ratings, response time) may be visible to other authorized members as required to facilitate offers and jobs.
15. Third-Party Services

16. Marketing Preferences & Opt-Out
You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in our messages or by contacting us. For mobile push notifications, adjust your device settings. Cookie preferences can be managed in our cookie banner (where applicable) and in your browser settings.
17. Do Not Track
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no industry standard for responding to DNT, we do not respond to these signals. We honor legally required opt-out mechanisms where applicable.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Effective date” above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g., via email or in-app).
