Account Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the E-BookNow Passenger App can request deletion of personal data, what information is deleted, and what information may be retained for legal, operational, payment, fraud-prevention, or record-keeping reasons.
This page is intended for App Store and Google Play compliance and applies to account data associated with the E-BookNow Passenger App and related booking services.
1. In-App Deletion Options
The Passenger App includes deletion options that let users remove some data without deleting the entire account.
- Saved favorite locations: users can delete saved locations individually from the Account area.
- Saved passengers: users can remove passenger profiles associated with their account.
- Payment methods: users can remove saved payment methods from the account when supported by the payment provider.
2. Full Account Deletion Request
Users can request full account deletion by either:
- using the deletion option available inside the Passenger App account area, when available; or
- emailing info@e-booknow.com from the email address associated with the account.
To help us verify the request, include the account email address and, if available, the phone number associated with the account.
3. Data Deleted After a Valid Request
Subject to the retention exceptions described below, we will delete or de-identify personal data associated with the account, including as applicable:
- account profile details such as name, email, and phone number;
- saved favorite locations and passenger profiles;
- booking preferences, notes, and in-app account data no longer required to operate or defend the service;
- voice-fill request content retained in our application systems, if any;
- other personal data that is not required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.
4. Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained after a deletion request when necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain financial and operational records. This may include:
- reservation and transaction records required for accounting, tax, chargeback, or audit obligations;
- limited payment-related metadata retained by payment processors such as Stripe under their own legal and compliance obligations;
- security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or dispute-resolution logs;
- records needed to comply with regulatory, legal, or law-enforcement obligations.
5. Processing Time
We aim to review and process valid deletion requests within 30 days, although some requests may require additional time where verification, payment disputes, or legal retention obligations apply.
6. Identity Verification
Before deleting account data, we may request reasonable information to verify that the person submitting the request is the account owner or an authorized agent.
